Silver Lodge

Location and contact details

12 Housley Lane, Chapeltown, Sheffield, S35 2UD

Silver Lodge Care Home is just a few minutes’ walk from Chapeltown centre, in a beautiful part of South Yorkshire. It is set in large, attractive gardens with comfortable seating areas: a perfect environment in which residents can relax with a newspaper, chat, or just sit back and enjoy nature. There is a well-stocked orchard and a large conservatory, which looks out onto the lawned gardens, with lots of visiting wildlife.

Silver Lodge is a converted former manor house with a homely atmosphere. An important player in that is Molly, the resident dog, much loved by all the residents.

The welfare, happiness and fulfilment of residents are the key strands which direct everything that the Silver Lodge team do. Care is at the heart of their operation and staff do their best every day to ensure that the way residents are looked after matches their personal preferences. In fact, staff like to think that residents feel Silver Lodge is more than a care home: to them it is a home.
