Location and contact details
Originally a Saxon town, most of Cantley was built after the second world war, and Cantley Grange lies at the heart of the community, a modern and purpose-built two-storey care home that provides specialist dementia and residential care for 40 residents.
The home’s ensuite rooms, all decorated to high standards, have modern furnishings and fittings. Residents are encouraged to personalise their own space, decorating with pictures and photographs, and some furnishings from home if they should wish to. The communal areas are spacious and light and it’s here that our residents can spend time together. Our televisions in our communal lounges are fitted with a loop system for those with hearing difficulties.
The home is very much part of the community and we often take part in local events. Our Activity Coordinator plans a varied schedule of events, excursions and activities, and we encourage our residents to remain active and interact with home life. This might include taking part in quizzes, reminiscence therapy, exercise sessions or trips out.
Our staff strive to deliver the highest level of care possible in a comfortable environment, regularly taking advantage of our pleasant gardens, which provide a peaceful and secure outdoor environment for our residents.
Our Home Manager is Sandra Allen.
