Set in large, pleasant gardens, Beechwood House Care Home in Yeovil provides a very high standard of residential care for 28 elderly people, all having ground level, en-suite rooms.

Established for 20 years, the aim is to provide a caring and comfortable home for people who feel unable or do not wish to live on their own any longer.

Two sitting rooms and two conservatories allow residents to enjoy either a quiet period of reflection, to meet visitors or to participate in the activities on offer.

Chefs prepare excellent home-cooked cuisine and special dietary requirements are catered for. Should you require help to order, collect and administer medication, the home will gladly do so.

The aim is to maintain an individual way of life, whilst knowing that help is available whenever it is needed. Above all, treat Beechwood House as your home.

We have daily optional entertainment during the week including games, sing-along sessions, gentle exercise and regular craft activities. We also welcome visiting entertainers to provide a variety of stimulating and enjoyable sessions and also enjoy regular outings.
We receive regular visits from Shirley, our hairdresser and a private chiropodist.

Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms to make them feel more at home. Each has a care plan which is regularly reviewed.

Facilities include: two spacious comfortable lounges, two dedicated pleasant dining rooms with conservatories, bathrooms and toilets adapted for ease of use and dignity. We also have a Nursecall system and access control doors.

All of our rooms and facilities are on the ground floor level. We have large, pleasant gardens which are readily accessible via ramps. In the rear garden there is a fenced pond with viewing area.
