The Cedars is a Nursing Home, registered with the Care Quality Commission caring for frail, physically disabled residents who require nursing care.

The Cedars Nursing Home prides itself on providing care for local people who have lived in or around Shaftesbury ensuring they feel "home from home", living their life in familiar surroundings.

We strive to meet our residents' needs and wishes in a sensitive and caring manner.  We provide a warm, comfortable and secure atmosphere for older persons who no longer feel able or have the desire to live on their own.

Our aim is for all of our residents to enjoy their own life style as far as possible, with the help of our experienced activities, care and nursing staff on hand 24 hours a day.

We have 31 bedrooms spread over two floors 3 of which are deluxe suites. All of our rooms are very well equipped but we can accommodate a small amount of furniture if our residents would prefer to have their own.

Above all, we invite you to come and talk to our residents and staff who are our finest testimony to our time honoured virtues of care, diligence and cheerfulness.
