Church Farm Care Home offers a number of residential care support packages (long and short term). Church Farm has a very homely feel. The former farmhouse has been converted to provide every modern convenience while retaining features like oak beams and fireplaces.
The expertise of carers extends to looking after adults with Parkinson’s disease, with all residents having their own key carer to safeguard their well-being and assess developing needs, which includes respite (including daycare), convalescence and palliative needs. There are lots of places to relax at the home. Residents can get hair and nails done, settle into an armchair with a good book or catch up with loved ones in one of the lounges.
There are plenty of outdoor spaces to sit and take in the fresh air and sunshine, including our large patio area and a wooden gazebo. The home has a hairdresser on site and is pet-friendly too.
The chef prepares delicious meals and snacks for residents to enjoy in the social dining area or in the comfort of their own room. Food menus are regularly assessed to suit preference and diet, prepared using fresh local produce, and even mark special occasions like birthdays.
The superb location offers tranquillity in the midst of plenty to do in the local area. Family and friends are always welcome, whether for a coffee, a meal or joining in with what’s going on.
