Belong Macclesfield Care Village
Belong Macclesfield is a purpose-built complex that provides modern accommodation for people who require 24 hour personal care, including nursing or dementia care, and is registered to care for up to 72 older people. There are also 18 one bedroom apartments, where people can live independently.
The village is located in a residential area of Macclesfield and was the first Belong village to open, in 2007. Local amenities are within a short walking distance
There are six separate households, each able to accommodate 12 people who require differing levels of care, support and treatment. Each household has a lounge, dining area and fully fitted kitchen.
The village also has facilities open to the public, including a bistro, hair salon and exercise studio, and there is a vibrant programme of events and activities.
Other services include home care and day care, under the Belong at Home and Experience Days brands.

Household residents enjoy secure access to the outdoors (patio and garden with raised beds downstairs, plus large balconies on upper floors) and to an open plan lounge-kitchen-dining area. Open plan layouts ensure easy orientation and independence, and meals are freshly cooked in the kitchen, providing appetising smells and a real 'heart' of the home. Beyond the households, there is a vibrant village centre with a range of facilities for events, relaxation and opportunities.

Belong operates a registered domiciliary care service for people living in their own homes under our Belong at Home brand. The team provide a bespoke and flexible service. Key features are: expertise in supporting people with dementia, reliable and punctual visits working round customer routines, help with general domestic chores, help to go out and attend appointments or pursue recreational interests, consistent support team and a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ approach.

Belong Macclesfield has six households, each with 12 spacious suites where 24 hour care is provided, including nursing care and support for people with dementia.
One household is dedicated to intermediate care for those recuperating from a spell in hospital. Respite and short term care is provided subject to availability.
A day care service is provided taking advantage of village centre facilities under the Belong 'Experience Days' brand. These are facilitated by trained support personnel.

Belong villages are modern purpose-built buildings and all rooms are spacious suites with en-suite bathrooms. There is secure access to each household with fobs for residents and staff only. The village centre is open to the public. There are break-out lounges and a guest suite for visitors in the main village centre.
Households are staffed 24/7. There are also 27 independent living apartments with a 24 hour emergency response system.
The village is wheelchair accessible throughout and we have worked with the RNIB to attain the 'Visibly Better' mark. Our brochure is available in braille and large format upon request.
