Location and contact details
Bridge View Care Home is situated in Choppington village in Northumberland, close to the Northumbrian coastline and a short drive away from the Northumberland National Park. It is located in the heart of the local community and is served well by bus services.
At Bridge View care home, there is caring staff, a homely and friendly atmosphere and high standards of cleanliness and care.
All these things, important as they are, are the very least you’d expect from them. But there’s so much more to Bridge View.
The central focus of everything done, day in and day out, is the general wellbeing of residents. To ensure that they remain physically and mentally active and that they are fulfilled, happy and feel cared for and loved.
Staff are always looking for innovative ways of doing things and have initiated a few ambitious and exciting projects.
Staff started a Listening Post café for all residents to meet on a daily basis, to talk and listen, laugh or cry.
Residents have started arranging to meet there and families also attend.
Staff initiated ‘My Day’. This involves two residents each day who are made to feel special by every member of staff on duty that day. Staff visit the residents to chat with them or to help them with whatever they wish to do.
