Overview
Rutland house provides personal care for up to 20 people, some of whom may have needs related to dementia.
Rutland House is a family run care home dedicated to providing a warm homely atmosphere in a comfortable and safe environment whilst encouraging and supporting residents’ independence.
All care staff are trained or working towards at NVQ Level II, dementia care and are dedicated to providing exceptionally high standards of care for residents.
After careful assessment of a resident, a person- centred care plan suited to the resident’s psychological and physical needs is created.
A high level of independence is encouraged and residents have control over what they do at Rutland House. Ranging from when they want to take part in activities to when they go to bed. A weekly schedule which helps residents decide what they would like to do is provided, it includes activities; sing-a-longs with a professional musician, chair based exercises to encourage residents to stay healthy and have fun, reminiscence therapy and a plethora more of activities.
