St Teresa's Care Home has been run by the Sisters Hospitallers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus for more than 85 years and provides residential care for 26 older people.
Situated in a quiet residential street in the heart of South Kensington, St Teresa’s is ideally located within easy reach of local transport services (Gloucester Road and South Kensington tube stations are both within a 15 minute walk of the Home), and local amenities
Spread over four adjoining properties, St Teresa’s has been refurbished in 2007/8 to a high specification. Offering 25 large en-suite rooms, the accommodation is decorated and maintained to an excellent standard, meeting and exceeding the requirements of statutory bodies. Facilities are regularly reviewed and assessed to ensure the needs and expectations of our residents and their families, together with the requirements of the statutory bodies, continue to be met.
Residents benefit from the homes integrated care programme - where care plans will be asseed with all relevant people in attendance thereby ensuring the resident recevies what they need a lot sooner.
Care plans are reviewed on a monthly basis or sooner if necessary with the involvement of residents, families and where necessary advocate.
GP visits residents on a monthly basis and when required. Medication reviews are carried out also on a regular basis.
Being located very close to central London durijng the summer months residents enjoy various outings to local mseums and beautiful parks. Music concerts take place regularly within the house as well as at St Paul's church and other venues.

St. Teresa's provides 24 hour residential care and support for 26 elderly people, including those with varying levels of dementia related illnesses. The atmosphere is calm and homely, and residents are encouraged and enabled to maintain independence in their daily lives for as long as they possibly can.

St. Teresa’s offers a well furnished, comfortable communal lounge, a bright, pleasant conservatory, communal dining room and a patio garden area with plenty of seating to enjoy the good weather whenever possible.
The Home also provides a wide and varied program of social activities for all residents to enjoy. Residents go out frequently to concerts and theatres and there are regular outings to places of interest.
On-site Chapel for residents who wish to attend mass or time for quiet reflection.

The needs of our residents are assessed and reviewed monthly to ensure the care they receive is appropriate to their needs. The team of committed and fully trained staff and religious sisters ensure residents needs are met.
