There are 18 bedrooms at Chalkhill Road, each with its own ensuite bathroom. There is access to shared kitchens, a dining lounge and television room. There is a large garden at the back of the property. There is a GP surgery within 2 minutes walk, good transport links and plenty of shops in the immediate vicinity.

We encourage clients wherever possible to increase their independence by providing them with the necessary skillset. Cooking, budgeting, household management and administration courses and activities are provided at the home. Our aim is to teach people how to do things, rather than hiring someone to do it for them. In rare cases where clients are not able to manage by themselves, appropriate help is provided.

The average length of stay in our care homes is 22 months. We will accept tenancies for as long as clients require outr services, although our aim is to help clients make a positive transition to more independent living within 2 years.

Chalkhill Road was refursbished to a high standard in summer 2012. There are 18 bedrooms. Each bedroom has an en-suite shower, toilet and basin.

There are two shared kitchens, fully equipped with cooking and cleaning facilities. On the ground floor a large lounge opens onto a spacious garden at the back of the property, where residents grow herbs and vegetables. There is also a smoking shelter and large area of lawn.


There is one fully equipped disabled flat on the ground floor of the property. All areas of the ground floor are accesible by wheelchair.

Staff are fully trained and regularly kept up to date with disablity and awareness regulation and best practice.


Chalkhill Road is conveniently located two minutes walk from Wembley Park station which connects west London with the rest of the city and suburban areas via the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines. There is off road, private parking in front of the property.

Where appropriate, transport may be provided for group trips or outings, but there is no regular transport provided by St Martins.
