Brookside House is a residential care home for disabled adults with physical disabilities, located in a pleasant residential area in Edgware, it is just one mile away from Edgware Town Centre with a variety of shops, cafes and pubs, the main attraction is the Boardwalk shopping Centre, which has a variety of small indoor markets, bookshops, beauty salon and during the summer there are a variety of performs in the main center.  There are also two main parks Edgwarebury and Stonebridge Park, which are wheelchair accessible.

Brookside House has twenty two self contained flats, each flat has a bedroom, lounge/dining area and a fully height adjustable kitchen containing a fridge, washing machine and microwave, en- suite shower room.  There is a fully wheelchair accessible front and back garden.

Brookside House provides twenty four hour support, and on call system. We offer personal care; active support which encourages every resident to be has independent as possible, and to enable each resident to be fully involved in every aspect of the care and support. Staff are trained to a high standard in order to gain the right qualifications.  There is support for all residents from their own key worker.  All meals are provided you can choose from the weekly menu or inform the cook of what you would like to eat, our kitchen is open to all residents 24 hours per day should you choose to eat at different times.

We ensure that our staff deliver a personalised care plan that’s tailored to the individual.  All care plans are discussed with the service user on a one to one basis; to capture exactly how an individual prefers to have their needs met. All care plans are signed off by our residents.

We also provide indoor as well as out in the community activities, all residents are actively encouraged to join other outside communities, training schemes or seek employment where possible.
