Allington Court is a purpose-built care home offering a range of tailored care services in a warm, secure and homely environment, and has been specifically designed for adults living with dementia. The home also cares for people living with Parkinson's, Huntington's or other neurological conditions requiring specialist nursing or residential care.
Accommodation consists of bright and spacious communal living areas and all bedrooms provide en-suite facilities. With the home being situated across one floor, it’s easily accessible, with some of the bedrooms offering views of the countryside. The home benefits from lots of communal space, with the added benefit of it’s sister home next door, there is lots of indoor and outside space for residents and relatives to enjoy.
Situated within 13 acres of well-maintained gardens, the home offers a country side feel, within a few minutes’ drive from the busy M25. The home is close to local bus links (short 10 minute walk) and a short taxi ride from Watford, St Albans and Bricketwood train stations.
Allington Court is responsive to the dietary needs of each resident and whether someone prefers to eat meals outside of usual dining times, or would rather eat in the privacy of their own room, their needs are met. There is a nite bite menu available, offering facilities throughout the day and night.
The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests. So whether your loved one already has a hobby or would like to take up a new one, there’s lots of exciting activities to get involved in seven days a week. The home also has computer facilities to help residents maintain links with the local community and family.
