Location and contact details

Church Walk, South Street, Bourne, PE10 9UQ
www.brighterkind.com/cedarsbournecustomercare@brighterkind.com01778421555

Nestled in the heart of a Lincolnshire market town, The Cedars is a warm and inviting residence set in the grounds of the old vicarage, surrounded by mature gardens with views of The Bourne Abbey Church. The home provides residential, dementia, respite, and palliative care.

There are 56 bedrooms across five residential and nursing units - there is no segregation between the units; residents choose the room they would like to live in. Spacious lounges, dining rooms and quiet areas are situated in each wing of the home, meaning peace and quiet is never far away. All furnishings and decor throughout the home are of an exceptionally high standard. There are also picturesque grounds - the meandering Bourne Eau river flows through the garden and there is a sheltered decking area, perfect for outdoor socialising and enjoying the garden.

Trained chefs cook a variety of nutritious and tasty meals to provide residents with appealing daily menus. Special dietary requirements will be catered for.

The recreation and activities co-ordinator oversees a busy programme of events, planned with input from residents and relatives to ensure everyone's social needs are being met and exceeded. There are daily in-home activities as well as regular excursions and big events for special occasions.

Care workers understand that moving into The Cedars will be a considerable transition, but it's one they try to make feel as easy as possible. By helping you arrange your room just the way you like, or bringing you your daily newspaper, they'll do the little things that make the biggest difference.
